Welcome to the third blog hop in our second series for our Card Swap Chain.
A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, Monique created her card and posted it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on!
This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent. You can see the first card from this chain, created by Monique, by clicking on the first link in the list below, and follow its progression through to the end. Mine was the ninth in the chain.
This is the card I was sent from Genna:-
It’s another great layout, with so many options!
Genna has stamped her three strips of cardstock then added ink to the edges to highlight them. I decided to use strips of the Petunia Pop paper from the 2024-2026 In Colour Designer Series Paper (DSP). I kept the highlighted inked edges.
The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink. The flowers are from the Flowers of Beauty bundle, stamped in Petunia Pink – full strength for the outline, and stamped off once for the filled section. The leaves are die cut from the Unbounded Love dies (both the Flowers of Beauty bundle and the Unbounded Love bundle are part of the Unbounded Beauty suite collection.
To finish the front of the card off, I added a Basic Rhinestone to the centre of each flower.
On the inside of the card, I used another of the flowers, with two leaves behind it.
Now it’s time to pop along to the final blog post in this Round to see what Nancy has done with her CASE of my card. Don’t forget to leave us a comment – we love to hear from you.
Happy crafting

I really like your Petunia Pop version of this design. I had a lot of fun CASE’ing your card!
What a beautiful card, Sharni. Great job of CASEing Genna’s.
