Welcome to the fourth blog hop in our second series for our Card Swap Chain.
A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, Nancy created her card and posted it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on!
This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent. You can see the first card from this chain, created by Nancy, by clicking on the first link in the list below, and follow its progression through to the end. Mine was the second in the chain, which means I received the original card of this round.
This is the card I was sent from Nancy:-
I kept faithfully to the same design as Nancy made, with my layers of paper from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper pack. My sentiment is again from the Simply Said stamp set (it’s such a great set). The flowers are again from the Flowers of Beauty bundle, but this time I’ve used the larger flowers. They are stamped in Petunia Pop (do you see a trend here with my stamp sets and colours?). The leaves are die cut from Summer Splash cardstock – I have trimmed them down to fit.
The card base is Berry Burst – I think it goes really well with Petunia Pop.
For the inside of the card, I simply stamped the flower image in Petunia Pop, with the outline full strength and the fill in stamped off once.
Now it’s time to pop along down the blog hop list to see what the others have done with this card. Don’t forget to leave a comment – we love to hear from you!
Happy crafting

A beautiful card! Love it. Thank you for sharing.
Love how you interpreted the layout!
Love all the bright colours Sharni, and the shift from masculine to feminine works so well.
Great Card Sharni. I also love Berry Burst with Petunia Pop. Amazing how you can create a totally different card with an identical layout.
