Welcome to the Let’s Craft Together blog hop featuring Australian Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who share crafting inspiration. Each month, a different demonstrator sets a challenge or theme, and other participants create projects based on it, showcasing a variety of styles and techniques. This month, the prompt is Rustic.
As it’s not a style I tend to use, I went off to do some research on Rustic cards before I made mine. I came across a card by Debbie Chronister which I really liked, so have CASEd her card, tweaking a few things.
It uses the Coneflower Celebrations bundle – I have stamped the main flower image onto white card stock and coloured using Crumb Cake blends. The stem and leaves are coloured using Mossy Meadow Blends. The background has been stamped using the Elements of Text set, in Crumb Cake. I have then used a blending brush to add more colour to the mat, again with Crumb Cake ink. This is then layered onto a mat of Early Espresso cardstock, then onto a Crumb Cake card base.

Happy Crafting
