Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Sharni from Melbourne, Australia. This month, we have a colour challenge with a choice of two palettes from these prompts.

I decided to use the first one, which has Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Flirty Flamingo, Blueberry Bushel.Pecan Pie and Early Espresso.
I have used the Mixed Florals bundle, which is an Online Exclusive. The image was stamped in Pecan Pie to give it a softer look. The tulips were coloured using Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo Blends, with the leaves done with Shaded Spruce. The tiny flowers were coloured with the light Blueberry Bushell Blend, then a dot of the dark placed in the centre. All the flowers have Wink of Stella to give them some shine.
To bring in the Pecan Pie, I ran the ink pad over the raised surface of the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder, then ran a white piece of cardstock through. I have used the second largest die from the Everyday Arches die set to create a frame in Early Espresso. This frame and the floral image were adhered using dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped using Cherry Cobbler (seems so much darker than the Blends) and die cut using a banner die from my favourite die set, Stylish Shapes. To get the straight edge with stitching, I turned the die so that the top then cut off the flagged edge on the right.
I love the little ladybirds so have added them to the front, and then stamped a row along the bottom of the mat inside, all coloured with Cherry Cobbler.

I hope the card you’ve seen here on my blog today has inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Sharni. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don’t want to miss any!
