Ink & Inspiration April 2026 sketch challenge

This month, for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop team, we have a sketch challenge. This is one of the sketches from a Stampin’ Up! catalogue last year.

To recreate my card, you will need a card base and mats of Strawberry Slush, and a mat of Night of Navy. The paper I have used is from a new 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack called Scenic Coast, which will be released for customers on 5 May 2026. I have used the centre of the paper to show off the lovely colours. This is a Specialty DSP so also has some shimmer to it!

I have used the Swirly embossing folder (sadly on the Last chance list) on the Night of Navy mat to tie it in with the seaside feel of the papers. The ribbon is Strawberry Slush which is also on the Last Chance list.

My favourite dies, Stylish Shapes, were used to cut the sentiment piece. The sentiment is from the Fragrant Layers stamp set, stamped in Strawberry Slush.

On the inside, I have simply added a small strip cut from the bottom of the same piece of DSP I have used.
