Welcome to the ninth card in the fourth series of our Card Swap Chain.

A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a team to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter. The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, it was time for Monique to create a card and post it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then CASEd her card … and so on!

This has been a lot of fun and I loved being able to CASE the cards I was sent.

I was the fourth person in this chain.

Here is the card I received from Dannii:
Handmade card with bright floral printed paper and three glasses of juice

I have used the now retired Cute as can Bee Designer Series Paper for my background. I loved it when Stampin’ Up! revamped the first papers to include Petunia Pop.

The bee images were created by stamping the stripes from the Bee my Valentine stamp set in Memento Black on Daffodil Delight cardstock. These were then punched out using the Bee builder punch. The wings were stamped in Pool Party onto Pool Party cardstock using a stamp from the retired Meant to Bee stamp set. The antennae were die cut from Basic Black using the dies from the coordinating die set.

I used a die from the Nested Essentials die set to highlight my three bees. The sentiment is from the Bee my Valentine stamp set.

Wink of Stella was used on the wings to add some shimmer. Plus some of the cute Tiny Bee trinkets were added.

I stamped three flowers (also from the Bee my Valentine stamp set) in Petunia Pop and coloured the centres in with Daffodil Delight blends for the inside of the card.
