The colours for this month’s We Fall in Colours challenge are Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake.

I’ve used a set that is on the Last Chance list – the Fragrant Layers dies, using the top left die.

I love being able to cut this in several colours then piece them together to create an image without using any stamps.

To recreate my card, cut the die into position on your mat of Basic White, keeping the mat.

Use double sided tape behind the areas you will need to fill in.

Cut the die image again in Pumpkin Pie, this time keeping the inner pieces and slot them into place in the white die cut mat. This is easier if you don’t remove the pieces from the die cut until you are ready to transfer them, helping you identify the correct position.

Repeat this with the Crumb Cake, again keeping the inner pieces for the smaller flowers and the centres of the larger flowers. I coloured over them with the dark Crumb Cake Blend to make them stand out more from the Crumb Cake card base behind them.

Finally, die cut from Shaded Spruce and keep the inner pieces for the leaves, slotting them into place.

Stamp your greeting in Shaded Spruce – I have used a sentiment from the matching stamp set, Fragrant Layers.

Use mini Dimensionals on the back of the pieced images, making sure there is plenty of support. Use Dimensionals around the edges of the mat and the edges of the die cut image.

Adhere to a card base of Crumb Cake.

Inside, the three colours were used in another die from the same set to create a single flower with two leaves. A small strip of each of the three colours was adhered near the bottom of the writing mat.
