Welcome to The Stamping Green for my post in the Touches of Ink blog hop. This month, I have used the Lily of the Valley bundle and the coordinating Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create a shadow box card. I created this for a tutorial group I am part of, and was quite happy with how it turned out.
Here is the front of the card – I have stamped the flower image and coloured the tops of the flowers with Fresh Freesia Blends. The leaves have been coloured using Granny Apple Green. The mat and die cut arch are both papers from the Valley in Bloom DSP pack. The card base is Blackberry Bliss.
It looks like a standard card from the front ……
until you open it and the shadow box forms.

For the inside of the shadow box, I have die cut the flowers in white then added Fresh Freesia with Blends to the top of each flower. The cut out from the shadow box was used on the front of the card (no wastage). I have used the same two papers from the Valley in Bloom DSP pack that I used on the front.
I have cut the decorative piece several times from Garden Green and adhered to the top and bottom of the shadow box section, and the bottom right of the writing panel.
