It’s time for another blog hop with the Let’s Craft Together group. This month, we were given a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

At the moment, my favourite two colours are a couple of the new In Colours – Petunia Pop and Summer Splash. I’ve been using the stamps from Spotlight on Nature a lot as well, and love adding dry embossing to give some texture so it was easy for me to choose the line I would use for this challenge.

I have had a lot of 60th birthdays to celebrate in the last year and have loved making the Flying Seagull card (designed by Susan Campfield) as a special card for friends. Here it is folded flat for posting.

Here’s a close up of the two types of embossing – dry embossing using the hash folder from the Basics Embossing Folders in the Online Exclusives, as well as heat embossing with white.

Here’s the list of people in our Tic Tac Toe challenge blog hop – pop along through the list to see which elements they have chosen to create their cards.

Happy Crafting

  1. Love the white embossing on the DSP – it looks fantastic. What a great card and a brilliant way to celebrate an amazing milestone!
