Welcome to my post in the Fun/Fancy Fold Blog Hop for October. I have created a Z-fold card with a difference – I’ve made it a triple! The card base and front sections were easy to work out, the middle section took me a bit longer but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I’ve used the Lovely Garden DSP for the three panels. In the front section, I have used a Blending brush to add Bubble Bath ink to the paper, then used a Bubble Bath Blend to colour the leaves, so that the paper matched the other two sections better. The card base is Bubble Bath, and the mats are Fresh Freesia cardstock.

Here are a couple of photos showing the way this was made.

The card folds flat to be able to fit into a standard envelope.

The floral image on the front left was created using products from the Thankful Garden bundle. It was stamped in Memento Black, using the Thankful Garden stamp set, then I used Blending brushes to add Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia inks on the first three masks, and Old Olive to masks 4 and 5. It was then cut using the coordinating die.

I’ve added a narrow strip of the first DSP to a white mat, then this was adhered to a Fresh Freesia mat and adhered to the back of the card base.

Of course, no card is complete without a bit of bling, so I added two large and one small Brushed Brass Butterflies to the right hand middle panel.
