Series 6 Chain Card Swap – following Ros’s card

Chain Card swap banner - with 2026 In Colours

Welcome to the third hop in Series 6 of our Chain Card Swap. The Chain Card Swap came about when Tracy Held decided it would be interesting to see if a card would change much from the original if it was sent to a chain of people. Each chain is different so we don’t get cards from the same person in each round, and we don’t send to the same person either.

It starts off with us all creating a card and sending it on to the first person in our list. That person then gets to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) that card then send their version on to the next person in their list, and it continues till the last person sends their card back to the original creator. Some cards don’t change much from start to finish; others are totally different.

The best way to view the progression is to go to the first person in the links below then follow through each step of the chain.

The third chain we are following is from Ros. I was seventh in this chain.

Here is the card I received from Monique –

I have used the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper (sDSP) for the outer panels. I stamped and die cut the images from the Flowering Meadow bundle – the flower in Berry Burst and the stem in Peaceful Pine.

When closed, it looks like a standard card –

But only the centre panel opens.

The Paradise Garden hybrid Embossing folder was used on the white mat on the centre panel to add some texture.

The three butterflies are from the 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies pack.

Next up in the chain is Heather
