Welcome to the third blog hop in our fourth series for our Card Swap Chain.
A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter. The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, it was my turn to create a card and post it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then CASEd her card … and so on!
This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent.
I used the Cute as Can Bee DSP (now retired) and used a sketch I found on Pinterest as the basis for my card. I was curious to see how much it would change during its progression.

The cardbase is Berry Burst cardstock, with Pool Party used for the strips and mat. The bee image was from the Bee my Valentine stamp set, and punched out using the matching Bee Builder punch. I used the Eyelet 3D embossing folder on Basic White cardstock for the background. The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set, and die cut using the banner die from the Stylish Shapes set.
Here’s a close up of the front.

And here is what the inside looks like.

I finished the card off by adding three Rhinestone Basic jewels.
You can follow the progression of my card by clicking on the second link below.
Happy crafting

Mr Bumble is soooo cute! Great card
I love this design – it has soooo many possibilities. And the bees are gorgeous with it.
