Series 4 Card Chain swap following Julia’s card

Colourful banner with the words Card Swap Chain and a linked chain under the words

Welcome to the first blog hop in our fourth series for our Card Swap Chain.

A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter. The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, it was Julia’s turn to create a card and post it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then CASEd her card … and so on!

This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent.

I was the third person in this chain, so hopefully it is still looking like the original concept. To follow the card through, it is best to start with Julia’s card, the first in the links below, then follow through the links in order to see the progression.

I used the Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP pack, on Highland Heather cardstock, with Mossy Meadow for the mats. The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set, (such a versatile set), stamped in Mossy Meadow. And I die cut this using my favourite dies, Stylish Shapes. I used my Mossy Meadow Blend to colour the twine before tying the bow and adhering using mini glue dots.

Here is the front view of the card I created:-

And here is what the back looks like, with the card fully open.

Now, if you didn’t start with Julia’s card, please go click on the first link below, otherwise, continue on to the link after mine to see the card’s progression.

Happy crafting!
