Welcome to the sixth blog hop in our second series for our Card Swap Chain.
A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, It was my turn to create card and post it to the next in the list. Then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on!
This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent.
Here is another view of the card I created:-
I decided to go for a layout that had three obvious pieces. First, the background mat was embossed using the Exposed Brick embossing folder then a piece of Petunia Pop ribbon attached along near the bottom edge. Paper from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack was die cut using a square from the Stylish Shapes dies. I used the next larger sized square for the white square in the centre. The two DSP squares were adhered using glue, and the centre square with Dimensionals. I stamped the larger flower outline from the Flowers of Beauty bundle in Berry Burst, then filled it in with Petunia Pop ink. The leaves were stamped using Summer Splash ink. Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Best Family Ever stamp set (lots of sentiments in this set). It was finished off with a few embellishments from the 2024-2026 In Colour shimmer gems.
Inside I placed a thin (1cm) strip of the same DSP about half a centimetre from the edge of the white mat.
Next, its time for you to follow on with the blog hop by clicking the next link below mine. Don’t forget to leave a comment – we love to hear from you.
Happy crafting

This is so pretty and fresh Ms Sharni Petunia!
Sharni, I love the white space, the fresh colours and texture in the card. great card to case, and interesting to see how your 3 diamonds evolved.
I love your version of the card for itself, and it was a great design to CASE!
