This is the first of the shoebox swaps that were created by the other five women at my recent craft retreat. It’s great to take part in a shoebox swap because you end up with cards in different styles than you tend to make, and use different products than you may own.
This is the first card I put together, created by Nicole. She used the Pretty Medallion stamp for an easy but very effective card, all done in Soft Succulent. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. It was created by first inking the stamp with VersaMark, then in Evening Evergreen; stamped on the the cardstock then applying clear embossing powder and heat setting it with the heat gun.
I hadn’t considered purchasing the Pretty Medallion stamp prior to the retreat but after seeing it used quite a few times, all with quite different results, it’s definitely on my radar now.
