Let’s craft together – Treat packaging using the Scalloped Window Boxes

This month, Tracy has set the challenge for the team to create a treat packaging project.

I have used the Bloom Boutique suite for my project, using the Scalloped Window Boxes, the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Scalloped Blooms dies.

This is the original scalloped window box from Stampin’ Up!

I have cut the Crisp Cantaloupe mat and the DSP using different sizes of scalloped dies. These were then layered them onto the top of the box, taking care to line up the shapes as there is definitely a right and a wrong way!

The sides have been decorated with strips of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock that has been put through the Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder. These were adhered on all four sides.

The sentiment is from the Paradise Garden Stamp set (currently on the Last Chance list here in Australia). It has been stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe onto a square of Basic White. This was then adhered to the inside of the box, under the window sheeting.

I have already given my boxes away – filled with mini chocolate bars – at a craft retreat.
