For this month in the Ink & Inspiration Blog hop, we have a sketch challenge. The team can use any current product to create their project.

I have used the Bloom Boutique Suite to create my card. This suite features all the new 2026-2028 In Colors®, so I’ve used the new Barely Blush card stock for my card base, and the new Hydrangea Hue for the mat, to co-ordinate with the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP). The three strips of cardstock are Fresh Freesia.

This has turned out to be a much softer card than I’d normally make, as I usually like strong contrasts.

The floral image from the Boutique Blossoms stamp set has been stamped in Fresh Freesia, then stamped off for the fill in stamp. The sentiment is from the Fragrant Layers stamp set, also stamped in Fresh Freesia.

The three leaves have been die cut from the Hydrangea Hue cardstock, then adhered to a strip of Barely Blush. To finish the front, three embellishments from the 2026-2028 In Color® Dots have been added to the ends of each strip behind the focal mat.

Of course, the inside can’t be left bare, so a narrow strip of the same DSP used on the front has been added to a slightly wider strip of Hydrangea Hue cardstock, then adhered to the bottom of the writing mat.
