Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – August

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Sharni Green from Melbourne, Australia. This month, we had a colour challenge.

This is the prompt we were given:

I love using Pecan Pie as a colour for my coffee cards, as I love lattes, so of course I had to use the Latte Love bundle for my card. I was able to use five of the six colours in my card, by stamping the coffee cup rim in Garden Green, then used my Granny Apple Green Blends to colour this in. Pecan Pie was perfect for the coffee colour, then I stamped the spoons in Gray Granite onto Gray Granite.

The sentiment is stamped in Pecan Pie ink, and die cut using a die from the Deckled Rectangles dies. I carefully dipped the edges of the diecut onto my Pecan Pie ink pad to make it stand out better against the background. I used a card base of Peach Pie and and a mat of Pecan Pie under a piece of paper from the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper pack.

I also included a small strip of paper from the same paper pack on the inside of the card.

I hope the projects you’ve seen here on my blog today have inspired you. What would you create if you were doing this colour challenge?

Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects that have been inspired by this colour challenge. You are currently visiting Sharni.

Happy crafting,
Sharni
