Welcome to the ninth in a series of blog hops for our Chain Card Swap.
A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group late last year to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, Nancy created her card and posted it to the next in the list, then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on!
This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent. You can see the first card from this chain, created by Nancy, by clicking here and follow its progression through to the end. Mine was the last in the chain.
This is the card I was sent from Genna:-
Genna used a die, which went across the card, under her flowers so I decided to change things slightly by putting my die cut piece at the top to create the clouds for my hot air balloon to be sailing in. The smaller clouds were made using dies from the Hot air balloon bundle. The paper behind the balloon is actually from the Fresh as a Daisy pack and I thought it made a perfect sky.
Here’s another view of my card
Here is the list of participants in the Chain Card Swap. I suggest starting with Nancy at the top of the list to see her original card then follow through each post to see its evolution.
Now its your turn to CASE Nancy’s card.
Happy crafting

Gorgeous card, inside and out. So much attention to detail. Loved it when I pulled it out of my letterbox. Funny how you went back to the “upright” layout.
A clever change-up to this card Sharni – and so funny that you flipped it back to how it started.
