Welcome to the seventh in a series of blog hops for our Chain Card Swap.

A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group late last year to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this blog hop, Michele created her card and posted it to the next in the list, then that person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on! This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent. You can see the first card, created by Michele, from this chain by clicking here and follow its progression through to the end. Mine was the eighth in the chain. This is the card I was sent from Annette:-

If you look at them side by side you can see how I tried to stay true to the design I was sent, with the angled shape, placement of die cuts and the ribbon behind the shape.

I used the Countryside Inn Designer series paper, and the Two-tone flora bundle for my flowers, stamping them in blue tones to match the paper.

Here is the list of participants in the Chain Card Swap. I suggest starting with Michele at the top of the list to see her original card then follow through each post to see its evolution.

Now its your turn to CASE this card.

Happy Crafting
