Welcome to the sixth in a series of Chain Card Swaps blog hops. At the beginning of October, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap” (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). Each of us designed a card (Round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and sent their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the path it took.

This time we follow the path that Maheswari’s card took. This was the first card I received in the swap so I got to CASE from the originator.

Here is Maheswari’s card.
Handmade card with gold diamond focal point, pink colours
I loved her card design and kept the square mat behind the focal point. I used stamps from the Two tone flora stamp set, using Boho Blue and Night of Navy ink, then diecut these images to layer over the Night of Navy mat. I also kept the same elements Maheswari used – ribbon tied on the left of the sentiment label, embellishments and a layer under the sentiment label, with a cardstock mat and strips of paper behind the main layer of paper from the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.

Follow down the list of links to see how this card changed over its journey.

Now its your turn to CASE Maheswari’s gorgeous card.
Happy Crafting
