Welcome to the fifth in a series of Chain Card Swaps blog hops. At the beginning of October, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap” (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). Each of us designed a card (Round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and sent their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the path it took.
This time we follow the path that Kayla’s card took. You can see her original card here. I suggest that you start at her post and then follow the link through which is in round order.
This is the card that I received from Nancy:
I really loved this card Nancy made as the rulers from the Sale-a-Bration Trusty Tools Designer Series Paper (DSP) were perfect to use split up and on these angles. I used paper from the Fresh as a Daisy DSP pack cut into strips to try to replicate this. I have used stamps and die cuts from the Cheerful Daisies bundle for my featured image and sentiment.
Don’t forget – the best way to see how this card changed during the Chain card swap is to start with Kayla’s card at the top of this list.
Now its your turn to CASE this clever layout.

I love that you took the diagonal stripes and cut the one piece of patterned paper to mimic it. Very clever.
