Chain card swap beginning with Genna’s card

Hand made card featuring a cute bee image with flowers and hearts
Chain card swap banner Welcome to the fourth in a series of Chain Card Swaps blog hops. At the beginning of October, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap” (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). Each of us designed a card (Round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and sent their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We are going to have a blog hop for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the path it took. This time we follow the path that Genna’s card took. You can see her original card here. I suggest that you start at her post and then follow the link through which is in round order. This is the card that I received from Monique: Handmade card in purples and greens She used a piece of Designer Series paper as a mat, then two strips of different sheet of DSP and a piece of white cardstock went over this, with some ink splattering and die cut pieces, then a sentiment strip. I have kept all these elements in mine, but shifted the sentiment strip to the top to balance the card more. Don’t forget – the best way to see how this card changed during the Chain card swap is to start with Genna’s card at the top of this list. Now its your turn to CASE this cute layout. Happy Crafting Sharni
