Chain card swap beginning with Annette’s card

Horizontal Christmas card with tree
Chain card swap banner Welcome to the first in a series of blog hops for our Chain Card Swap. A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group late last year to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an original idea. For this first blog hop, Annette created her card and posted it to Monique and she CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) it and mailed her card to the next person on the list. This person then cased her card … and so on! This has been a lot of fun and a great challenge for me to CASE the cards I was sent. You can see the first card, created by Annette, from this chain by clicking here and follow its progression through to the end. Mine was the fourth in the chain. This is the card I was sent from Carolina: I’ve kept the same layers of mat and DSP (Designer Series Paper), and the strip with the mat and DSP on the left hand side, swapping the Countryside Inn DSP for the Shining Brightly DSP from the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini catalogue. I used the Merriest Trees bundle to create the tree and sentiment. Here is the list of participants in the Chain Card Swap. I suggest starting with Annette to see her original card then follow through each post to see its evolution. Happy Crafting Sharni
