Series 2 card swap chain – following Cheryl’s card
Welcome to the tenth and final blog hop in our second series for our Card Swap Chain. A group of Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators formed a group to create cards and swap them in a process like a chain letter (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). The first card in each sequence is an […]
Let’s Craft together blog hop – October
This month’s Let’s Craft Together challenge is a sketch challenge, set by Maheswari. This is the image we were given: I decided to keep the floral theme but change my colours to pinks. I’ve used the Regal Flora stamp set. I stamped the flowers using Berry Burst ink, and the leaves in Shaded Spruce. The […]

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop – July 2024
Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Sharni Green from Melbourne, Australia. This is the prompt we were given for this month’s challenge. We could use either the colours (any or all) or the photo, or both as inspiration for our cards. I used Calypso Coral and Old Olive from […]

Welcome to the second in a series of Chain Card Swaps. At the beginning of October, Tracy Held started a fun journey with 10 other Australian demonstrators. We called it a “Chain Card Swap” (although I’ve called it Chinese Whispers cards). Each of us designed a card (Round 1) and sent it off to one […]
Hot air balloon Make & Take card
At my recent Mini catalogue launch, attendees made two Make & Take cards using new products. One of the cards was this hot air balloon card, using the new Hot Air Balloon bundle. The background was created by die cutting a piece of white cardstock using a die from the Basic Borders Dies to create […]
Easy five-strip cards
I created a couple of these very easy cards, but I love how effective they are. I cut the strips of cardstock at 5mm wide, and the width of the card base (10.5cm for the portrait card), then adhered them with a slight gap between the strips. I used dies from the Stylish Shaped Dies […]
Reversing your embossing folder
I was using the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder on some cardstock recently. When I turned the cardstock over to add the adhesive, I really liked the softer effect the embossing folder gave. So then of course I had to create a card using that softer side! I’ve done the embossing on Pale Papaya cardstock. […]
Hues of Happiness birthday card
This is the second of the shoebox swaps that were created by the other five women at my recent craft retreat. Janine created her card using a strip of the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, matted on co-ordinating cardstock. The sentiment is from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in the Jul-Dec 2022 […]
