Welcome to the Stamping Green. This month, the Product of the Month from Stampin’ Up! is the Begonia Belle stamp set. To earn the ability to purchase it, you need to place an order of $125 AUD or more then you can add this for an additional $9 AUD, during the month of July, while stocks last.
I grew up with begonias in our front garden, so wanted to recreate the colours I remembered from my childhood. I’ve used Berry Burst ink for the darker colour, and Bubble Bath ink for the lighter colour. The leaf has been stamped using Peaceful Pine ink, stamped off once for the darker section, and stamped off twice for the paler section.
The stitched die cut is Cloud Cover cardstock, using a die from the Nested Essentials die set. This was then stamped with a sentiment from the Begonia Belle stamp set, in Peaceful Pine ink.
The card base is Cloud Cover, with a mat of Peaceful Pine, then a mat of paper from the Velvet Meadow DSP pack.

The stamped begonia image was fussy cut before being adhered to the card using Dimensionals, while the Cloud Cover die cut and leaves (also fussy cut) were adhered flat. Three pink sequins from the Sunset Sparkle sequins pack were added to complete the front of the card.

On the inside, the leaf and stem was stamped in Peaceful Pine ink, and the buds in Bubble Bath ink, then a thin strip of the same paper used on the front was adhered close to the bottom of the writing panel.
